R1 INCOME TAX ON PROFITS

1) The Income Tax on Profits collected by the State during the years 2004 to 2006 amounted to:

• Year 2004: 418 billion Lebanese pounds
• Year 2005: 409 billion Lebanese pounds
• Year 2006: 442 billion Lebanese pounds

2) We call on our readers to tell us if they think that these results can be improved upon during the next five years and by how much. In other words, can the Lebanese government collect more than 442 billions of LP per year and what should they do to achieve this result?
